These are awarded solely at the discretion of the individual organisations that set down their own criteria for eligibility.

Government of Ireland of Ireland Scholarships

These scholarships are targeted at international students who have the potential to be future leaders in their field and who are committed to making a difference in the world. The scholarship programme supports one year's study at Irish higher education institutions. Government of Ireland Scholarship - International Education Scholarships

Focus Scholarship: 60 scholarships will be provided for one year study at Bachelor, Master or PhD levels

Competition: February 2021 - March 2021

Scholarship Coverage: A €10,000 stipend for one year’s study A full fee waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution

Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme Call 2020.

Under the initiative 60 scholarships will be provided for one year study at Bachelor, Master or PhD levels to successful candidates who have an offer of a place at an eligible Irish higher education institution

Southeast Asia Scholarships offered by National University of Ireland Galway

Focus Scholarship: Undergraduate or Postgraduate Students from South East Asia that have received an offer to study at NUI Galway commencing September 2021 will be considered for these awards.

Competition: November 2020 to 31st of March 2021

Undergraduate or Postgraduate Students from South East Asia that have received an offer to study at NUI Galway commencing September 2021 will be considered for these awards. 


To apply you will be required to submit a personal statement (MS Word, 500 words maximum) covering the following points:


Your interest in studying in NUI Galway;


How you foresee your relationship with NUI Galway developing in the future;


How you will promote links with NUI Galway, both during your scholarship tenure and as alumni.

Global Business (Bachelor in Business Studies) Scholarship at Trinity College Dublin

Focus Scholarship: Undergraduate

Scholarship Coverage: Scholarships valued at 5000 euro each, applied as a reduction to the tuition fees for the Global Business (Bachelor in Business Studies) for the first year only

Application process 
Please submit your scholarship application as follows: 

  • Email your application to your Regional Manager. If you are unsure whom your Regional Manager is, please select your country of residence on this page and verify the name of your Regional Manager in the “Contact Details” Section 
  • Subject line of Email: your name + Trinity application ID + Global Business (Bachelor in Business Studies) Scholarship 
  • Scholarship Application Documents (please ensure all documents include your name and Trinity Application ID - assigned by TCD when application for the Global Business (Bachelor in Business Studies) is submitted (for details on how to apply, please visit this page 
    • Trinity Offer Letter (Applicants must have receive a conditional or firm offer of a place in a Trinity undergraduate course). 
    • 200 word statement on “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community.” – submit in Microsoft word document or pdf format. 
    • CV/Resume 
  • You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship request. 
  • Your Regional Manager will inform you if you’ve been selected for a scholarship and will inform you for the process to formally accept the scholarship. 
  • Please note deadline for all US Scholarship Applications is April 1st, 2021.

Criteria

Who can apply: Applicants who have non-EU status and will pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate.  
 
Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be assessed based on academic achievement, and evaluation of the applicants’ potential to contribute to the overall TCD community
