8 Nobel prizes and ranked among the top universities in the world
Uppsala University has a mission to gain and disseminate knowledge for the benefit of humankind and for a better world. It was founded in 1477 and is currently ranked among the top universities of the world. Eight Nobel laureates have been connected with the university. It has around 45000 students among which some 4500 are international studying on bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level.
