The Andalusian Center for Iberian Archeology was born in 1998, through an agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Andalusian Government and the University of Jaén.
Its objectives are focused on research, conservation, management and dissemination of the Iberian archeology of Andalusia, through its own research teams, interdisciplinary collaboration with other centers, specialized training and the organization of scientific meetings. It has its permanent headquarters in the campus of the University of Jaén.
