In 1986, FUNDISMA was created as a non-profit foundation with the following basic objectives: "Teaching, research and production of works related to design in its broadest sense".
FUNDISMA, in fulfillment of its mission, proceeds to the creation of the Superior Center of Design of Fashion of Madrid in 1986, like institution dedicated to the education, the investigation, the production of works and the promotion in the field of the confection and complements , Covered by the Design and Fashion Plan of the Ministry of Industry and Energy.
