The interdisciplinarity that generates the relationship between the Arts and Design favoring the integral formation of our students is, as pedagogical philosophy, the main characteristic of the Massana School.
The Escola Massana is the municipal center of Art and Design that the city of Barcelona has located in the beautiful building of the old Hospital of Santa Creu. As a result of the legacy of Barcelona pastry chef and philanthropist Agustí Massana, the Escola began its pedagogical work on January 14, 1929.
