Created in 1843 in Alès, Mines Alès has developed and adapted to the evolutions of the industrial world and society. Founded to train managers for the mining industry, it is now a multidisciplinary engineering school with an international reputation. She is a member of the Institut Mines-Télécom, of the Institut Carnot MINES; Of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and associate member of COMUE Languedoc-Roussillon.
"Following the various opinions given by the CTI (commission of the title of engineer), the school of mines of Alès is authorized to issue a diploma of engineer (generalist) in initial and continuing training and to award three diplomas of engineers Specialized in ""computer and network"" learning; Design and construction management ""and"" mechatronics "".
