Study in Université Montpellier 1

The Université de Montpellier 1, one of Europe’s oldest, has always exerted an influence out of proportion to its size.
The diversity of its academic offerings and its multi-site architecture are two of the things that make the university distinctive. Every academic program is designed to provide leading-edge instruction. Within the university’s dynamic, multidisciplinary setting, research and teaching converge on a single objective: excellence in education, merging the best of old and new in a congenial, stimulating environment. Although the university benefits greatly from its important architectural and cultural heritage, dating as it does from the 12th century, it is also distinguished by its strong links with the many national research organizations that operate in the city (CEA, CIRAD, CNRS, IFREMER, INRA , INSERM, and IRD).
