A substantial number of full and partial scholarships will be available for fee-paying students – these will vary depending on the chosen university.
The University of Eastern Finland will have a substantial number of scholarships available for students who are required to pay tuition fees in Master’s degree programmes offered in English. The scholarships will be available for the most talented fee-paying students. The scholarship can cover the tuition fee either in full (100%) or partially (80%).

The University of Turku offers a generous scholarship programme for students who are subject to tuition fees. The scholarship programme has 3 categories:
A scholarship will be granted to up to 30 % of the admitted students who are subject to pay tuition fees and have applied for scholarship.
Students can apply for a 2-year scholarship at the same time as applying for admission to one the Master’s degree programmes of the University of Turku. There is a separate application process for the 1-year scholarship during a student’s first study year.

Tampere University offers a variety of scholarships to fee-paying students studying in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme. The scholarship program provides full or partial tuition coverage. To ensure fee-paying students can make the most of their studies, Tampere University participates in the coveted “Finland Scholarship”, offered to the most merited applicant from each master’s degree programme, including a full waiver of tuition fees and a 5000 euro relocation grant. Please note that the Finland Scholarship is not available to students at any university of applied science.

Åbo Akademi University has launched a scholarship programme for tuition fee-paying students admitted to Åbo Akademi University. The scholarships are connected to the study entitlement and can only be used to pursue studies within the programme the student has been admitted to.
