Overview :

Founded in 1994, we are a multi award-winning university of applied sciences located in stunning Bavaria, ranked as one of the best universities of applied sciences in Germany. We strive for academic excellence and are committed to producing global graduates with international degrees to bachelor and master level. The student population of 8,000 includes 30% international students from all over the globe. All full-time studies are free from tuition fees.

Teaching styles

Three modern teaching campuses equipped with workshops and science labs accommodate all students. Study groups rarely include more than 50 students to ensure a personal atmosphere and provide individual support for students to excel. “Study Buddies” help students understand challenging lecture content.

Support programmes

We go to great efforts to support our students on personal, social and academic levels. International students can experience the Bavarian lifestyle within the family in the “Host Family Programme”. “International Tutors” provide social support and the International Office helps with accommodation, visas, health insurance, scholarships, etc. in addition to organising an orientation week and intercultural training for all incoming internationals.

Work experience

All undergraduate studies include a compulsory internship for students to gain invaluable work experience. Practical workshops and seminars prepare students for the job market, meaning our graduates are particularly successful in the job market, 87% enter into permanent employment directly after graduation.
