ŠKODA AUTO University was founded in 2000 as the first and the only company university in Czech Republic. Its founder is ŠKODA AUTO, seated in Mladá Boleslav, is one of the most important and most dynamically evolving companies in the Czech republic and one of the largest brands of the Volkswagen concern.
In both the bachelor and master degree programmes emphasis is placed on language acquisition and all students have to study at least two foreign languages, usually English and German. However they can also select courses in Russian, Spanish or Chinese. Most courses especially in the follow-on master study programme include the global business environment.
