"Kazimierz Pulaski in Radom goes back to the 1950s School of Engineering. In 1965 Kielecko-Radomska Engineering School was established on its basis, transformed in 1967 into Kielce-Radom Technical University and later in the Technical University of Świętokrzyska. Independent business began in 1978 as the Higher School of Engineering, accepting the name of Casimir Pulaski. In 1996, the name of the University changed to ""Kazimierz Pulaski Radom Politechnika"". For a number of years, the authorities of the University have been striving for its continuous development and increasing importance in the world of universities of our country."

Kazimierz Pulaski in Radom has the right to award doctoral degrees: Economics (Doctor of Economics in Economics and Discipline in Goods Science), Mechanical (Doctorate of Technical Sciences in the discipline of construction and operation of machines and discipline of mechanics), Art (doctor of fine arts in the discipline of artistic art Beautiful) and Transport and Electrical Engineering (doctor of technical sciences in transport discipline and discipline of electrical engineering). In 2009, the Faculty of Mechanics of the Radom Polytechnic at the then Radom Polytechnic was granted the right to confer the scientific degree of doctor habilitated technical sciences in the discipline of construction and operation of machines. Second entitlement to award the academic degree of the habilitated doctoral degree in technical sciences received in October 2011. These powers in the discipline of transport was obtained by the Faculty of Transport and Electrical Engineering."
