The Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences (HSKL or HS KL, formerly the Kaiserslautern Fachhochschule ) with the three study places Kaiserslautern , Pirmasens and Zweibrücken is a university for applied sciences and design with a distinctive profile in applied research and development and academic further education.
In 1989, the areas of textile technology, shoe and leather technology as well as chemical engineering were moved from Kaiserslautern to Pirmasens. [2] As a conversion project, in which former military installations were used for civilian use, the place of study was Zweibrücken with the departments of business management , computer science and microsystem technology .
