The University of Silesia in Katowice, established in 1968, is one of the biggest public universities in Poland which currently educates 28.000 students. It contains 12 faculties and several university-wide didactic units spread into four cities of the Silesian region: Katowice, Sosnowiec, Chorzów and Cieszyn.
The school constantly enriches its offer teaching, starting at the new faculties and departments responding to the needs of the labor market and the expectations of employers.
