The Benevento university campus consists of the Departments of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods, Engineering, Science and Technology, which began as home jeweled University of Salerno, bought full administrative autonomy and education from 1 January 1998 (DM 29 / 12/1997), University of Sannio Benevento.
As part of the national university training the Sunni University is distinguished by a cultural complex project, characterized, on the one hand, by training highly specialized, such as to qualify as a site of national importance for certain disciplines; for the other, from the promotional role that the University aims in the development process of the economic and social system of the Campania region, and in particular of its internal areas.
