The University of the Arts London is Europe’s largest higher education institute dedicated to the study of fashion, art, design and the performing arts.
"UAL actually comprises six separate colleges, the most famous of which is arguably St Martins, which has produced some of the art and fashion world’s most recognised names, including Stella McCartney, Louise Wilson, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. The other five colleges are: The Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts; the London College of Communication; and the London College of Fashion. The colleges were founded between the mid 19th and early 20th century. "
