On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, Adam Opel AG visited Frankfurt School of Finance & Management to give the business school´s international students insights about career opportunities at one of Germany´s biggest car manufacturers. In his introduction, Professor Dr Jörg Werner, Professor of Accounting as well as Head of the Accounting Department at Frankfurt School, highlighted the chance for international students to work in finance at a company that combines innovative technology and tradition.
For Opel, Dr Rembert Koch, Director Aftersales Finance, Axel Berchthold, Operations Controller and Christine Teusen, Manager Auto Finance GME Treasury and FS Alumna spoke to the students. “Opel stands for innovation and is shaped by its passion for cars. Since the end of the 19th century we manufacture automobiles. German engineering has brought us where we are now. However, success is unthinkable without highly qualified staff, working in the field of finance and controlling”, said Dr Rembert Koch.
