From its foundation in 1853, EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, has evolved into a top-ranked research and teaching institution that attracts some of the best intellects in the world. EPFL offers study programs at four levels: 13 different 180 ECTS-credit Bachelor’s Programs, 22 different 90-120 ECTS-credit Master’s Programs, 18 orientations within the Doctoral School, and a School of Continuing Education.
