Estonian higher education has two cycles, following the Anglo-Saxon bachelor–master model. Bachelor’s level studies form the first cycle and master’s level studies form the second cycle. In some specialties, the study programmes have been integrated into a single cycle.

Scholarships to Study in Estonia

International students who are interested in studying in Estonia may be granted one or more forms of stationary and non-stationary non-repayable financial aids, created by Estonian government or universities. These scholarships are available for students of Master's degrees or PhD studies and also bachelor's courses. The amount of the scholarship is defined individually for each application by university's council.
