Study in Université de La Rochelle

The University of La Rochelle is one of the few European state universities which offer Indonesian language program. Our Applied Language for Business Department was the starting point of our cooperations in Indonesia, in various academic fields, mostly in exact sciences and humanities: Double-Degree Master programs, staff and students exchanges.
The University of La Rochelle’s vision is « smart coastal city ». Our transdisciplinary research teams include not only environmental science and coastal management, but also law, management and social sciences.
The University of La Rochelle is proud to cooperate with UI, ITB, UPI, UNPAD, UNDIP, UGM, UNS, UNDIKSHA and Ubaya. Currently, 30 Indonesian students are studying at the Université de La Rochelle.
The campus is very close to the city center, most of our students come to the campus by feet or bicycle. The city is safe and quiet. La Rochelle is a model of urban ecology (self-service bikes, sea-bus, electric cars and shuttles etc.) Being situated on the Atlantic coast, this city offers an excellent quality of life, along with a cost of life cheaper than in big cities.
